2025 CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an agreement between farmer and consumer in which members pay farmers upfront for their season’s produce then, farmers curate a weekly share based on what is in season. It is a way for farmers to receive the necessary capital for seeds and supplies at the beginning of the season and guarantees sales of produce. In return, CSA members receive a bounty of produce when it is at its peak ripeness, picked fresh and delivered promptly. This agreement gives members a sense of what is growing in their area at different points in the season and just what all it takes to get from seed to sellable product.

Part of the CSA agreement is about sharing the risk and rewards that are inherent in farming. We take many precautions to ensure we grow the best quality produce possible but due to elements of growing food being out of our control, crops are always subject to damage that cannot be prevented. As CSA members you understand that there are risks involved and quality and quantity of produce are not guaranteed.

CSA Details…

  • This is a 18 week CSA running from May through September with a total cost of $450.

*exact start date is determined based on plant growth in the spring

  • There is only one size share and it values at $20-25 each week, depending on where were at in the season. For example, in the spring the share may be less diversified and at the lesser price point but as the weather warms and produce ripens the value of the share may exceed the higher price point. The shares are closely tracked to ensure you get the full value or more.

  • Semi-customizable with a few items in the share being a “this or that” choice. (Example: you may pick either kale or chard, parsley or cilantro, radish or turnip)

  • There are multiple pick up locations and times, so you may choose which will best suit your schedule.

  • Receive a weekly newsletter with photos and updates of what is happening on the farm, recipes tailored to your share for meal inspiration and a form to fill out if you would like to customize your share.

  • Customization choices must be made via the form in your newsletter and sent in by 9 pm on the Sunday before your pick up day.

  • It is your responsibility to pick up your share every week, or find someone who can, during the designated pick up hours. If you will be out of town or know you won’t be able to make it, you may email us by 9 pm on the Sunday before your pick up time and we will hold the share for you. You may then choose to double up another week or shop at farmers market to use up your credit.

  • If you forget to pick up your share without notifying us beforehand, your share will be donated.

  • You may choose to pay for your share in full at time of sign up or in installments. Your share must be paid in full by the start of the CSA.

  • If for any reason you are dissatisfied or need to cancel your subscription during the season, we will reimburse you on a pro rated basis.

  • As a CSA member, you will receive the first of the vegetables as they come into season, you will also have first dibs on share add-ons and bulk buying opportunities when there is excess. This is great for those who like to preserve the summers bounty.
